Sigma Blade Mixer Blades

Sigma blade mixers go by several names including Z-blade mixes and double arm mixers. The most common blade design is the sigma blade (shown below), hence the name. Other mixer blade designs are available including:

  • Dispersion blades
  • Masticator blades
  • 180° Spiral blades
  • Naben blades
  • Double Naben blades(a.k.a. fish tail)

Sigma blades overlapping design is typically used for lighter mixing applications.

Ribbon Blenders
