DOUBLE SHAFT RIBBON BLENDERS

Double-Shaft Mixers are a somewhat specialized design, similar in construction to single-shafted mixers, but with a second shaft that allows for more effective mixing of pasty or lumpy materials by causing increased product movement and shear.

The two counter-rotating agitators pull pasty and sticky materials down into the bowl, smearing and breaking agglomerates and recombining the material. Can be engineered for either center or end discharge.
